Earlier this month Holdall & Co was lucky enough to have been nominated alongside 4 other businesses from Northamptonshire for The Young Entrepreneur of 2013; I was very excited and humbled to have won the award on the night.
Having founded Holdall & Co this time last year I knew that I wanted to start an honest and transparent company which supported British manufacturing and worked with as many local businesses as possible. Spending over half of the year researching and finding the best people to work with to make my dream come true, we finally launched our online store www.holdallandco.com in early January of 2013 and have been really pleased with the positive feedback from the fashion press and most importantly our customers.
The company is something that I'm really passionate about - I truly believe in what we do; seeing something that I have carefully designed made in front of me by skilled hands who are just as passionate about what they create is exciting, which is why we have invested in the best materials to ensure longevity for our folios (and other products in the pipe line) as I want us all to enjoy them for as long as we can.
I have observed a number of factories with skilled crafts men and women go out of business, which is a great shame, but I hope that with your help and support Holdall & Co can play a part in keeping some of these people going and hopefully passing on their skills on to the next generation.
I want to say a big Thank You to everyone that has been part of our journey over the past 12 months and who have supported Holdall & Co, every one of you has been vital to our success so far and I hope that you all stick around for the next 12 months as we have some exciting plans to share with you all in the near future.
